I wanted to show that “device” and “self” were never separate by cutting a vertical core of soft diamond through our shared reflex—each stratum a lived epoch where algorithm and nerve already co-authored motion. I chose a geological cross-section that refuses to stabilize: prismatic spectra slice while the surface yields to touch, and a recursive scan misregisters the layers so seams don’t blend—they overwrite, stacking pre-residue, live event, and post-scar in the same wound. Stand close: the exhilaration comes where you suddenly read the artifact as your own capability, and the vertigo arrives when the boundary dissolves into a limb you always had.
