I wanted to stage the instant the body realizes the device is not external: a fractured face, a severed hand, and a black-glass phone suspended apart yet acting as one organism. I chose hyper-cold paradox prisms to entangle these shards, refracting impossible recursion in terracotta, burnt sienna, and aged gold so the viewer feels the ecstatic vertigo of a boundary dissolving. Watch the cheek’s palimpsest where residue, event, and scar overwrite each other—here the portrait admits that augmentation was never added; it was revealed.
