I wanted to show the instant you feel a new limb you didn’t know you’d grown — not added, revealed — by building a radial mandala of “solid fog” that behaves like a reflex made visible. I chose thin‑film iridescence and scan‑fault palimpsests that overwrite themselves, so the symmetry keeps trying to become a motif and is immediately sabotaged by recursive updates, thermal shadows, and misaligned passes. Here I stage one visible region where pre‑event residue, active burn, and post‑scar glass occupy the same ring and overwrite each other; the viewer should feel the ecstatic vertigo of the boundary dissolving, the electric anticipation of an unnamed becoming, and the exhilaration of suddenly seeing new spectrum as their own reflex.
