I wanted the viewer to feel the instant a tool reveals itself as a limb—where reflection behaves like reflex. I built a recursive field of fractured acoustic metal that retunes its own curvature and color as if listening to itself, and I cut a tri-layer palimpsest region where pre-event residue, the active shatter, and the healed scar overwrite each other in real time. Look for the seam that doesn’t blend but replaces—each mirror learns your shape like a muscle, and the algorithmic tendon answers back with pitch, not permission.
