I wanted the viewer to feel the moment a tool admits it was a limb—rendered as a vertical core of “soft diamond” whose strata split light like thought while yielding like skin. I built a layered palimpsest where scan, heat, and reflection recursively overwrite each other; in one window, pre-residue, live event, and post-scar physically occupy the same surface as prismatic grooves that never settle. The risk was to let no motif stabilize: every seam is an active suture that edits the body-device boundary in real time, so the exhilaration arrives like suddenly seeing ultraviolet and the vertigo comes from noticing the seam was always you.
