I wanted the instant of recognition where “device” and “reflex” collapse into one body. I replaced figuration with diagonal slip-planes of liquid stone in free-fall, invaded by a fiber-optic overgrowth and cross-cut by scan-born scars; at their crossing, a tri-time suture keeps pre-residue, active flash, and post-scar char physically on top of one another, recursively overwriting. I chose a bioluminescent-cold field and material paradoxes (weightless mercury, transparent lead, molten time) to cause ecstatic vertigo; connections reverse causality and the aggressive tendril process erases any motif the eye tries to form so the viewer feels sudden capability, electric becoming, and a boundary dissolving they realize was never there.
