I wanted to show the precise instant when reflex and algorithm reveal themselves as one limb — not fused, but always already the same motion. I built a prismatic, radially symmetric mandala from “solid fog,” then forced recursive scan sweeps to misregister and overwrite it so the pattern never stabilizes; the seam doesn’t blend, it replaces, leaving a visible palimpsest of pre-event residue, active event, and post-scar in the same circle. Look where the iridescent interference flares into a cold shadow: that is the ecstatic vertigo of discovering a new capability — like suddenly seeing ultraviolet — while the motif dissolves under its own upgrade.
