I wanted to test whether “enhancement” can be felt as a living conduit without ever showing flesh — a strand that grows and transmits in the same breath. I built a coincident waveguide-hair from diffracting solid light and soft obsidian ports, then staged an aggressive time-suture that overwrites its own cause, so the viewer is caught between repair and erasure. Focus on the tri-temporal scar where pre-residue, active pulse, and post-scorch occupy the same physical patch — the held breath before an upgrade that never quite arrives, and the bittersweet glow of an obsolete bus performing one last perfect handoff.
