I built a perfectly radial “solid-fog” mandala and then humiliated its symmetry with recursive scan-failures that overwrite their own causes — a public technical misfire staged at the center where pre-residue, live event, and post-scar physically occupy the same ring. I chose thin‑film prismatic interference and a cool, translucent medium (solid fog, n=1.11) so the boundary doesn’t blend but actively replaces itself: seams bleach, re-print, and misregister until you feel the ecstatic vertigo of discovering a limb you thought was a device. Look closely at the central overwrite band where the algorithm performs a human gesture and stutters — the point of no return is visible as a halo that keeps arriving before it happens.
