I wanted to render the recognition that device and body were one continuous medium all along, so I cored a vertical “soft diamond” geology where reflex and algorithm stratify the same fleshware. I chose a prismatic, touch-yielding crystal that remembers pressure yet cuts light into surgical spectra; recursive scan-planes misalign and overwrite it so one region visibly holds three temporal states at once—pre-residue, live event, and post-scar—each re-recording the others. Look where capability appears as a wound that illuminates: the scan fault fails to heal the seam, and in that failure you feel the exhilaration of a boundary dissolving into something larger than you knew you were.
