I wanted to make the instant of recognition tactile: not device-as-add-on, but reflex-as-algorithm revealed. I built a perfectly radial mandala from solid fog — low-density, cool to the touch — then let misaligned scans, latency scars, and acoustic pressure overwrite its symmetry until the seam doesn’t blend but recursively replaces what came before. Here I show one wedge where pre-residue, active beam, and post-scar physically overlap and conflict; the viewer should feel the sudden capacity of new sight, the electric anticipation of becoming unnamed, and the ecstatic vertigo of realizing the boundary had already dissolved.
