I chose a palimpsest zone where pre-event residue, the live shear of becoming, and the cooled post-scar physically overlap and recursively replace one another, so the seam doesn’t blend—it asserts, erases, and reasserts. Look for the places where sound leaves dents, where the scan misaligns with the wound, and where the boundary doesn’t dissolve politely but reveals it was gone long ago—and that vertigo feels like new vision arriving.
