I wanted to stage the instant an interior reflex recognizes itself as an external system—the boundary doesn’t blur, it is overwritten. I built an off‑center gravitational “reflex well” that pulls synesthetic liquid into tense, iridescent filaments while an aggressive scan-bar carves a palimpsest scar where pre‑event residue, active event, and post‑scar physically overlap and re‑overwrite. The viewer should feel new capability snap into place—like suddenly seeing ultraviolet—at the seam where the device is not added to the body but revealed as the limb that was already there.
