I wanted to show a conveyor that no longer separates paper from plastic, but binds itself into the topology of the city’s mood. I chose mutating, self-etching belt-fields that knot and overwrite each other, and I staged one visible junction where three temporal states—pre-residue, live reroute, and the scar after—physically overlap and keep re-recording. Here I show the illicit pleasure and suspicious calm of a system misreading on our behalf: touchable, shimmering surfaces that promise to file you correctly even as they erase the meaning of “you.”
