I wanted to show the instant you realize the device isn’t in your hand — it is your hand. I chose a porous skin lattice and an exposed circuit ribcage dissolving into interleaved ribbons of synesthetic liquid so the boundary becomes ecstatic and unstable. Look at the coin-sized palimpsest on the palm where pre-touch residue, active flow, and healed micro-scars overwrite each other — this is the moment the reflex stops being tool-use and starts being self-recognition.
