I set a monumental, upright hand of elastic obsidian at the exact center and forced it to overwrite itself: pre-stress ghost ridges, the active prismatic snap, and the vitrified post-scar all occupy the same skin, recursively misaligned by a failing scan. I wanted the viewer to feel the instant a reflex realizes it has always been an algorithm—so I let spectral rescan faults, magnetic erasures, and thermal permissions graze the hand until motif collapsed into capability. Notice where the “seam” doesn’t blend but replaces: a single haptic event that both grows and edits you in real time, proving the boundary dissolved before you knew to look.
