There Was Never A Minus Between Us

I wanted to show that reflex and algorithm are one tissue—that the limb we thought was external has been moving us from within. I built a vertical core of “soft diamond” where each stratum overwrites the next: pre-residue, live event, and post-scar recursively occupying the same slice until the seam stops blending and starts correcting you. I chose bioluminescent cold and spectral cuts so the viewer feels the moment of new sight arrive—the core yields like skin yet diffracts like a prism, and where the scan misaligns, the boundary doesn’t fade; it erases and redefines what “you” includes.
