The Limb You Mistook For A Tool

I wanted to show the moment you realize the device was never outside you: a vertical core of “soft diamond” stratifies reflex and algorithm into one muscle, then a misaligned audit-scan slices through and overwrites it in real time. I built each layer as a dated, cataloged residue that both accepts and issues commands, so the seam does not blend — it recursively replaces itself, leaving one visible zone where pre-residue, active event, and post-scar occupy the same coordinates. Bioluminescent cold — ultraviolet-cyan caustics through deep-ocean blues — makes the boundary dissolve into exhilaration rather than loss; look where the scan’s spectral bands cut light like blades but the material yields like skin: that is where the human-plus-machine question erases itself.
