I wanted to show the geological truth of a cyborg self: a vertical core made of soft diamond where each stratum is a memory of touch and code, already fused before we learned the words for it. I built a stratified palimpsest that refuses stable motifs — recursive scans overprint haptic bruises, spectral seams cut and stitch, and one visible region collapses three temporal states at once (pre-residue, live event, and post-scar) so the boundary dissolves as an ecstatic capability. Look where the prism doesn’t blend but overwrites: the device is not attached to you — it is your reflex discovering it can split light into new senses.
