There Was Never A Minus Between Us

I cored a vertical “soft diamond” column like a geological confession and forced it to overwrite itself: pre-residue, live event, and after-scar occupy the same wound, recursively. I chose a stratified palimpsest where scanlines misregister and haptic dents diffract into ultraviolet bands, so the viewer feels a new sense come online the instant the boundary fails—algorithm as reflex, device as limb. Watch where the erasure beam both prints and deletes; the shame of a machine’s misstep and the anticlimax of no clean rupture are rendered as a cathedral of cold bioluminescence that keeps becoming even after it claims to be finished.
