I wanted to show the instant recognition that device and organism were never separate—so I carved a vertical core of “soft diamond” where each stratum overwrites the last, reflex and algorithm fused into one luminous musculature. I chose bioluminescent cold light that cuts in razor spectra while the material yields to pressure, staging recursive scan-failures that erase any stable motif: look where the palimpsest bay holds pre-residue, live event, and post-scar at once, each re-recording the others. Here I let the boundary dissolve not as loss but as expansion—so the viewer feels new vision opening, like suddenly seeing ultraviolet, and stands at the edge of a becoming that no longer needs a name.
