I cored the present into a vertical column of soft diamond so the seam between reflex and computation could overwrite itself in public. I built strata that remember touch and split light, then let a recursive scan-burn misregister across them, forcing a single region to hold pre-residue, active event, and post-scar at once — a literal palimpsest of becoming. In the bioluminescent cold of deep blues and UV flares, the viewer should feel their sight unlock a new band, the boundary liquefy into capability, and the question of “human vs machine” collapse into a larger self that was already here.
