I wanted to show a face, a hand, and a phone as three shards of one organism, suspended yet inseparable, bound by cold prisms that refract a warm, impossible interior. I chose hyper-dense mirror crystals to splice the portrait and flood it with terracotta and burnt gold geometries, so the viewer feels the ecstatic vertigo of a boundary dissolving. Here I show the precise moment recognition happens: the device is not held — it completes the body — and the prisms make that truth unavoidable.
