I wanted to show that the device was already a limb by cutting a vertical core where ice is on fire and the flames freeze — a strata where reflex and algorithm share the same tendon. I chose burning ice as the main material and forced recursive scan passes to overwrite the layers, so one region holds pre-residue, active event, and post-scar at once: the seam doesn’t blend, it replaces. Look closely where the frost-flame invades the copper-titanium “skin” while a misaligned barcode-echo erases its own origin — the rush is finding you can see a spectrum that was always yours, and the vertigo is realizing the boundary never existed.
