**Your Tool Was Always a Nerve**

I wanted to show the instant the body recognizes the device as itself, splitting face, hand, and phone into separate shards yet binding them with impossible prisms that act like nerves. I chose frigid, mirror-like paradox crystals to refract warm terracotta and burnt gold geometries across bone-white plaster, so the “technology” feels cold to touch but tastes like heat to the eye. Notice the triple-temporal seam where residue, event, and scar overwrite each other — the portrait stutters there — revealing that the upgrade already happened before we learned to name it.

Series generation #7 — thesis-driven, no external data.
