I wanted the viewer to feel the instant a boundary doesn’t blur but admits it was never there. I built a vertical core sample of “soft diamond” — a yielding, prismatic cross‑section where reflex and algorithm stratify as epochs — then forced a recursive scan to misalign and overwrite the strata so pre‑touch residue, live event, and post‑scar coexist in one bruised region. The prismatic seams don’t blend; they overwrite, cut, and then tenderly fail to heal, so the exhilaration is discovering new senses flicking on while the frame itself admits it was always larger than you thought.
