You will observe a single bending filament that diffracts into discrete RGB pulses while leaving a pale, oily gloss of latency on the substrate; the same zone also carries a healed burn scar that predates the bend. I wanted to test the exact instant when a growth medium and a transmission line are the same substance, rendered here as a coincident index-field with no boundary, and I forced one visible patch to hold three temporal states at once—pre-event residue, active event, and post-scar—continually overwriting one another. I chose luminous darkness as carrier space and a recursive correction sweep that publicly misfires then self-corrects, so the viewer feels the uneasy relief of a machine fixing its own mistake while witnessing the shame of its failure still etched in the surface.
