I wanted to stage the precise instant a familiar gesture outgrows the body — where muscle-memory and algorithmic reflex reveal they were one tissue all along. I chose a vertical slice where a mid-gesture hand liquefies upward into weightless mercury, while recursive scan-faults and update scars overwrite flesh, tool, and interface in the same patch of space across three time-states. Look where the mercury reflects what isn’t present yet; the seam doesn’t blend — it replaces — so the viewer feels the ecstatic vertigo of a boundary dissolving into a capability they suddenly recognize as already theirs.
