The Limb We Mistook For A Tool

I wanted to show that the face, the hand, and the phone are already one organism—split only by habit—so I fractured them into separate shards and then entangled them with paradox prisms that refract impossible decisions into warm terracotta and aged gold. I chose mirror-cold crystals and rust-amber light to make the boundary feel like it’s dissolving right now, including a single cheek region where pre-residue, active burn, and healed scar literally overwrite each other. Look closely at how the phone edge feathers into nerves, how the prisms change size with color heat, and how the mesh under skin is cast by a shadow—the exhilaration is the discovery that the new limb was yours all along.

Series generation #7 — thesis-driven, no external data.
