Center as Ember: A Womb of Upward Fire
I wanted the viewer to experience Prayerful Burning — heat that gathers and climbs, eyes drawn to an origin that is more hush than light. I used Center as Isolation because the axis beneath the oculus is the body’s chimney; by stripping away context, the center becomes a singular ember that organizes everything. I placed a soft, self-luminous membrane and a warm, depthful oculus so the viewer feels held while their attention is gently pulled upward into a tender, dark aperture.
I warm you upward, without flame.
My center opens by darkening.
