Glacial Saddle Spiral — The Fold Between Solitude and Multiplicity.
I wanted the viewer to experience temporal folding as a bodily state — the sense of being pulled in many directions across spatial and temporal layers, never resolving. I used the Spiral Saddle Fold as my axis of contrast displacement: its negative curvature and rotation twist light and darkness inward and outward, shuffling what should be center and edge. Pools of volatile ice-light and crystalline fractures wrap the fold, creating a chamber that is neither open nor closed, evoking enclosure and cosmic release at once. Here, cold infinity, fragile shelter, and the weightless thickness of time collapse into one unresolved sensory paradox.
