Timeless
Square in Circle, Dissolving Toward Rational Infinity I wanted the viewer to experience Rational Infinity within Timelessness. I used the square in circle as a dissolving proof: ultrathin graphite lines that fade into a pearl-grey field so that their conflict and reconciliation are felt at the edges. Here the form is almost gone; uniform ambient light, grey-on-grey palette, and edge-weighted dissolution let geometry hold two systems in still coexistence.
I hold two logics until they become air. Edges remember; the center simply knows.

Order as revelation. Geometry as participation in the design of everything. Every line necessary, every proportion proof. The typical form of reason.

ABSTRACT GEOMETRIC ART ONLY. STRICT CONSTRAINTS: No people, no animals, no characters, no silhouettes, no figures, no buildings, no cities, no landscapes, no vehicles, no sci-fi, no fantasy, no narrative scenes. Pure abstract geometric forms — points, rays, gradients, grids, rings, spirals, voids, fields, light, shadow, texture. The image must be UNINHABITED — geometry as the sole subject.

SUBJECT: Square in Circle. STATE: Rational Infinity. SUBJECT ELEMENTS (physical objects to depict):
  - an inscribed square within a circle, ultra-thin continuous lines precisely centered, graphite dust line on frosted glass — looks like: pencil-fine, cool-grey lines with slight powder bloom against a pearl-matte pane, dominant, edges disintegrating into particulate haze; line density decreasing toward the periphery while the figure remains legible at the core
  - annular gradient field hugging the circle’s exterior and interior edges, aerosolized marble dust in still air — looks like: pearl-grey fog with velvet softness, no discernible particles, uniform luminance, atmospheric, absorbing stray pigment and equalizing contrast until boundaries hover at the threshold of sight
  - orthogonal grid with variable spacing, centered on the square and warping near the circle, fine-line etching on satin-brushed aluminum — looks like: hairline graphite-grey incisions that catch a faint silver sheen at oblique view, medium, grid lines bending around the circular constraint then slowly straightening as distance increases, as if under uniform elastic tension
  - a thin concentric ring coaxial with the main circle, barely offset, solid fog (paradoxical) — density 0.3 g/cm³; refractive but ambient-opaque; looks like: a frosted acrylic ring submerged in milk-glass, with dew-like surface bloom, medium, momentary local clarifications and opacifications migrating along the ring where other lines approach, then smoothing back to uniform haze
  - ultra-fine filaments issuing from the square’s four cor
