**IMAGE B — Divergent Exploration: “Suspended Wave Horizon (Apex Star in Section)”**

**GEOMETRIC PRIMITIVE (PROTAGONIST):**  
A monumental **spherical cap vault**, sliced horizontally, with its concave inner hemisphere dominating the upper two-thirds of the composition. This form is rendered in cross-section, so only the lower rim’s arc is visible — a clean, razor-fine parabolic curve spanning nearly the full width, reading as a single, inevitable horizon. Beneath this, space falls away into absolute void, an expanse of pure, saturated midnight indigo. Above the arc: luminous stratified layers, alternating bands of glazed lapis and cold fog, accumulate up to the dome’s zenith. The geometry is legible as a section cut: the spherical vault presents as a single, enormous band — no illusionistic depth, no vanishing point, no dome “interior” shown.

**COMPOSITION (HORIZONTAL BANDING):**  
The entire scene is composed as clear, stacked **horizontal strata**:
- **Topmost band:** A narrow ribbon of void, in which a single, minuscule blue-white star (the “apex seed”) burns with impossible clarity, off-center, about one-third from the right — the visual and conceptual anchor, the only focus point in the infinite.  
- **Central band:** The spherical arc — rendered as a thin, pearl-glazed silver curve, spanning nearly the breadth of the image (except where haze blurs it at the far right), subtle but geometric, functioning as the “event horizon” between saturated light and void.  
- **Lower bands:** A deep, matte indigo field, graded ultradark, interrupted only by a mirrored echo — the arc’s reflection is faintly visible as a phase-shifted, rippling moiré band, slightly offset downward and to the left, as if sound waves caught in delay.  
- **Atmospheric haze membrane:** A vertical blade of luminous, silvery fog bisects the rightmost 30% of the image, its razor-edge oscillating and vanishing at the top margin, blurring the spherical arc and gently drowning it in mist.
