Womb
Boundary of Heat, Where Fullness Meets Nothing.
I wanted the viewer to experience Prayerful Burning. I used Void/Saturation Contrast as Intensification because only an absolute seam—one side overflowing with warm presence, the other swallowing all—can form a vertical chimney for the spirit inside a soft, womb-lit enclosure. Each panel depicts a sensation the viewer has felt but never seen rendered as architecture: here, being held by a room; alongside it, vertigo without falling; and, finally, not knowing how long you've been. Here the form is Womb: diffuse, amber, and intimate, with the boundary overfilling the frame so the eye climbs without relief.
Rise through the seam of warmth into hush.
