  - broad linear gradient slab cutting across the first at 35°, satin silver ink wash on cold-press paper — photographed texture retains tooth, then abstracted to pure tone, dominant, gliding laterally, its tonal ramp shifts by micrometers, perpetually almost aligning and then missing the other field
  - nested, irregular contour curves following equal-density bands, hairline graphite and pale pearl pencil lines, 0.2mm, grey on grey with slight waxy sheen, medium, lines are thinning and spacing unevenly where gradients collide, mapping pressure without edges
