ARCHETYPAL DOME — THE PURE HEMISPHERE AS COSMOS, WOMB, TIME
I wanted to explore how a single curved form can evoke radically different emotional realms when altered only by light and color. I chose to present three states of the same hemispherical geometry—cosmic vastness, intimate enclosure, and eternal stillness—inviting viewers to witness perception filling an otherwise neutral vessel. Here I show how the dome, stripped to its essence, becomes a mirror for projection, embodying the shock of sameness transforming into opposite states.
