Suspended Within Inverted Hyperbolic Ripples of Blue Time.
I wanted the viewer to experience inverse liminality—a sense of being both within and without, suspended between presence and absence—by enveloping them in a field of pulsing, jelly-like inverted hyperbolic ripples. I used the ripple as an edge-dissolving web rendered in cold blue and spectral light refraction, so that light itself vacillates between embracing and dissolving form. Each surface pushes the paradox: undulating, elastic yet sharp at the edge, pooling and splitting in perpetual motion. The entities are both aperture and enclosure, echoing the cosmic vault and the organic womb, yet refusing to resolve into one state. This frame captures a timeless drift through the cold marine cosmos, where solidity and fluidity coexist, and the very threshold is alive and moving. Here the form invokes the state 'Cosmos.'
