Abyssal Stratigraphy: Light Becomes the Sediment
I wanted the viewer to experience Crystallized Light. I inverted color strata so the “layers” are dark apertures edged by cold luminance, letting space itself read as sediment. A concentrated, eclipse-like corona from above turns background into figure, and the dome’s curvature is implied only by the bending bands and meridians—cosmic scale held by layered time made of light.
I am the cut where light remembers weight.
Look longer—the dark is what shines.
