Radial Fold Hyperbolic Saddle: Dawn Suspended within the Cold Lens.
I wanted the viewer to experience the vertigo of paradox at micro-cosmic scale—a frozen veil within a drop, where cold infinity and warm interior swirl unresolved. I used the radial fold hyperbolic saddle as a fracturing lens that inverts enclosure and exposure, with radial folds echoing both spiderweb and cosmic field lines, surfaces oscillating between concave and convex. Here, luminous blue and silver rebound against splinters of rust gold and grain red, pooling and stratifying light into ambiguous membranes. Perceptual boundaries shift fluidly—no single layer holds: the geometry flickers between containment and abyss. New thematic questions arise: how can we visually suspend the instant when inner and outer, warm and cold, collapse and mutually dissolve?
