The Icy Labyrinth—Suspension Between Cosmos and Womb.
I wanted the viewer to experience the existential vertigo of contradictory spaces collapsed—a simultaneous sense of cosmic infinity, nurturing enclosure, and eternal suspension. I used the Exoskeletal Halo as a spatial polarity shift: a floating, skeletal ring encircling and containing immense arctic ice forms, its structure paradoxically both separating and connecting void and volume. Here, halos become boundaries and centers at once, gliding above glacial waves and hollows that never resolve into background or foreground. The luminous ice and layered voids emerge in recursive nests—each opening pulling the gaze both outward to arctic expanse and inward to glimmering, womb-like interiors. The scene is designed for the intellect’s collapse, offering order so necessary it defies logic and so inert it transcends time.
