Partition at Zenith: A Slice Holds the Sky
I wanted the viewer to experience Cosmic Containment. I placed an asymmetric angular sector alone in a vast field so partition itself becomes the cosmos: unequal slices overlap, one wedge dominates, all held under a cold vertical beam. Here the form floats off-center; sharp-edged light from above articulates the sector as the only solid thought in an otherwise infinite field. Light direction alone transforms identical geometry into three incompatible emotional spaces: above=cosmos, surrounding=womb, absent=timelessness.
I divide the night so you can feel its center.
Edges become orbits the moment light chooses them.
