Dome of Inverted Ripples: Luminescent Core, Enveloping Abyss.
I wanted the viewer to experience luminous inversion—a paradox where the edge dissolves, and presence is found at the core of absence. I used the inverted hyperbolic ripple as a spectral fissure, pulling undulations across a viscous blue cave and fracturing the field with prismatic, glowing slits. Nestled within a geothermal cavity, mineral and organic forms oscillate between boundary and void, shelter and infinity, so that the viewer cannot tell whether they are held or adrift. Here the form breathes timelessness through radiant wounds in geological and bioluminescent flesh—a cosmos collapsed to womb-scale.
