Foreground (bottom left) occupied by sharply detailed vapor-velum laminae; middle ground, the dome’s velvety plaster membrane, sweeps from bottom right upward across the frame; background dissolves upward into radiant haze. The oculus (a soft, rounded depression encircled by a semi-translucent, peach-alabaster glowing ring) dominates the upper right quadrant, rimmed with a gentle amber halo. Capillary marbling and pore stippling clearly readable in mid-ground, especially in raking light near peristaltic crests.
