Moiré Vault Held At Zero Hour
I wanted the viewer to experience Suspended Time. I used a Grid / Cell Matrix as a Collision because overlapping, incompatible lattices mapped onto one hemisphere generate a moiré that suggests motion yet remains perfectly still. I placed ultrathin grey-on-grey line systems in uniform ambient light, letting interference freeze at threshold so the dome becomes a neutral vessel where duration reads as texture, not flow.
I am the pause that keeps breathing company.

Each cell is a microcosmos, distinguishable by boundaries but unified in logic—no cell repeats, and some tessellations fracture, dissolve, or mutate as they approach the dome's dissolving periphery. **COMPOSITION:** Camera angle is heroically off-center, positioned at the lower right rule-of-thirds intersection, gazing upward so that the dome’s apex is displaced into the upper left. The composition is a deliberate play between flatness and implied depth: contour and grid lines describe the hemisphere's curve, each warped and torqued by the transformation from spatial volume into the two-dimensional “map.” This perspective creates a palpable spatial contradiction—the viewer knows the dome is an enclosed volume, but it reads as paper-thin, almost diagrammatic, denying both true interiority and actual flatness.
