Eclipse Rosette: The Second Hand Stops.
I wanted the viewer to experience Suspended Time. I used a star/rosette at the zenith as an impossible, self-supporting lattice of light that exists only when looked at, so the dome’s oculus becomes an eclipse-pupil whose corona knits the pattern into being. Here the vault reads as cosmos: cold, directed starlight; a breathing floor halo; dust held like constellations—so the body settles into an eternal now as the central motif tightens and releases without clocks.
I hold you at the top of your breath.
Nothing moves, yet the circle remembers how.
