Vortex of Breathing Waters: Where Stillness Spirals Awake. I wanted the viewer to experience transient kinetic stillness — the paradox of a space where every form seems frozen, yet vibrates with imperceptible micro-movements, holding the body in active, uneasy suspension. I used a nested spiral/vortex as the protagonist, its path folding and looping through aquatic filaments and fractured reflections, set in a twilight cavern of translucent threads and prismatically diffused light. Here, the spiral does not simply rotate; instead, depth shift reversal makes midground filaments pulse forward and back, obscuring where motion ends and enclosure begins. Every entity, from the opalescent vortex to sheets of mirror-water, serves to collapse the distinctions between containment and infinity, motion and pause. The spiral's energy is felt as a bodily tension — the viewer hovers, both interior and afloat, caught in the interstice of cosmic, womb, and timeless states.
