Spectral Ridges Breaching the Desert of Collapsed Time
I wanted the viewer to experience the polarized veil—where a reversed convex ridge splits a landscape between concealment and revelation. I used these ridges as fractured, rusted monuments echoing spectral reverberation, their sharp crests carved from both corroded iron and glass-like mineral, each edge shearing through a twilight desert. The interplay of cold blue shadow and amber-tinged haze produces a tactile paradox: surfaces crumble while light refracts into layers, immersing the viewer in the tension between erosion and eternity. The state is Cosmos—an infinite inhalation where time, heat, and cold fracture and nest within one another.
