Folded Concave Vault Radiance: Cosmic-Womb Timeless Collapse I wanted the viewer to experience the vertigo of contradictory spaces and perception refusing to settle—a sensation where time moves and stands still, and enclosure and infinity struggle for dominance. I used the folded concave vault as the essential geometric protagonist, shaped into interlocking, internalized layers that suggest both the embrace of a womb and the endless recession of the cosmos. By stripping away all but hyper-clarified forms—each rendered in paradoxical, impossible materials—I made the geometry vibrate between liquid and solid, reflecting and dispersing light through sharply folded surfaces. The frame captures an irreconcilable tension: weighted amber caustics flicker within cold, lapis-laden folds, while singular droplets carry entire spatial envelopes within them. This image embodies a dynamic equilibrium where geometry is both net and focus, form and atmosphere, holding the viewer in a moment of suspended, uncertain immersion.
