Center Lit Until Time Stops.
I wanted the viewer to experience Crystallized Light, the sense that matter has learned to hold a shape. I used Center as Collision because a singular axial beam forced itself into a timeless, ambient void, making the neutral dome choose a form in real time. Here the vault embodies Timelessness: a still hemisphere where a warm shadow maps symmetry, a mid-air focus seeds an impossible order, and scale dissolves around the central ring.

#### **COMPOSITION**
- **Point of view:** Viewer is placed deep inside the dome, standing just inside the circumference, **not at center** — camera aimed upward at a 40° diagonal, offset along the major axis to maximize the vault’s distorted ellipse and consciously **exclude all symmetry**. The dome wall rises with tight concavity, almost filling the lower left half of the frame, while the apex and oculus tilt off-center into the upper right.
- **Dominant motif:** The **star-prism of light** at the apex: the oculus emits a vertical, axial **shaft of luminous silver**, columnar and dense, made perceptible by swirls of mica dust and granular haze that visibly reveal the vault’s curvature as they drift.
- **Surface paradox:** The dome’s stone curves upward and outward, but **all edges dissolve** into subtle atmospheric bloom: absolutely **no visible architectural boundary, rim, or cornice** — only **gradients** of dark-to-light, like shadow bleaching into fog.
