Radial Folds Breathing the Submerged Infinite.
I wanted the viewer to experience the intricate polarity where void becomes presence and cosmic expanse is refracted through the intimacy of undulating folds. I used the radial fold hyperbolic saddle as inversion: its peaks dissolve into shadow, while its valleys flare with collapsed light, inverting the expected roles of form and void. This interplay was heightened by layering iridescent marine textiles and crystalline fissures, so the composition never settles between ocean vastness and tactile nearness—existing always in perceptual flux. It is an existential liberation: here, boundaries breathe, time reverses, and only unresolved paradoxes hold.
